First Word - early december "peek-a-boo"
First Tooth - broke through on Dec 29,2008

Things I hope I never forget

I will be adding to this list from time to time. These are just a few things that I hope I never forget about my baby girl:

She . . .
  1. hold her ears when she's nursing, taking a bottle, or tired
  2. was such a mild mannered baby
  3. changing her diaper is like wrestling an alligator
  4. is fearless around water
  5. is constantly moving, bouncing, wiggling, squirming
  6. she adores my dad
  7. is very ticklish
  8. has very strong jaws. . . always biting on something
  9. walks on her knees
  10. always has her tongue hanging out of her mouth (since she started walking) I don't know if it is a concentration thing, or if she's finally getting teeth
  11. throws herself backwards if she doesn't get what she wants & is always banging the back of her head against the wall or her high chair
  12. scrunches up her nose when she smiles . . . SOOOOO cute!
  13. can climb up onto anything!
  14. tilts her head & rests it on her arm (almost like she is talking on the phone & holding it with her shoulder. . . you know like every multi-tasking mom does)
  15. won't keep her headbands, hats, shoes or socks on
  16. holds her index finger to her lips like she's thinking of something to say
